Interactivity

A filter for Year can be added (if multiple years exist). Selecting a year updates both the Total Sales KPI and the Monthly Sales Trend line chart to show data only for that year.

Self Check

If you add a filter for Month = "Jun" to "Aug", which components update and what do they show?

  • Total Sales KPI: Updates to show sum of sales for Jun, Jul, and Aug (1500 + 1600 + 1700 = 4800).
  • Monthly Sales Trend Line Chart: Updates to show only points for Jun, Jul, and Aug, connected by a line.
Key Result
A dashboard showing total yearly sales and a line chart of monthly sales trends.
