This feature lets you connect Tableau directly to your Google Sheets data. It helps you use live or updated data from Google Sheets in your Tableau reports without manual exporting.

Steps
Step 1: Open Tableau Desktop
- Start page
You see the Connect pane with data source options
Step 2: Click
- Connect pane under To a Server > More
A list of additional connectors appears
Step 3: Select
- Google Sheets connector
A sign-in window for Google appears
Step 4: Sign in
- Google sign-in window
Tableau connects to your Google account and shows your Google Sheets files
Step 5: Select
- Your desired Google Sheets file from the list
Tableau loads the sheets inside that file as tables you can use
