Business Question

Which product categories have similar sales performance, and how can we group them to analyze trends more easily?

  Group members:

  Used Tableau's grouping feature to combine similar categories.
• Bar Chart with Groups: Sales by Grouped Categories
  Shows total sales per group:

Interactivity

Clicking on any bar in the Sales by Product Category chart highlights the corresponding group in the Sales by Grouped Categories chart. Filters on product categories update both charts and the total sales KPI card dynamically.

Self Check

Add a filter to show only categories with sales above 4000. Which components update and how?
