  • KPI Card: Total Sales

    Bars vertical, height shows sales amount

Interactivity

Adding a filter for Product Category or Region updates both bar charts and the total sales KPI card to show only the filtered data.

For example, selecting East region filters the horizontal bar chart to show only East sales, the vertical bar chart updates sales by category for East region, and the KPI card shows total sales for East region.

Self Check

If you add a filter for Region = West, which components update and what changes occur?

  • Total Sales KPI Card: Updates to show sum of sales in West region (1500 + 2500 + 1200 = 5200).
  • Vertical Bar Chart (Sales by Product Category): Updates bars to show sales only for West region categories.
  • Horizontal Bar Chart (Sales by Region): Updates to show only West region bar.
