Dashboard Goal

Track monthly sales trends for two products to see how sales change over time.

Dashboard Components

• KPI Card: Total Sales for Product A
  Formula: =SUM(B2:B7)
  Result: 980
• KPI Card: Total Sales for Product B
  Formula: =SUM(C2:C7)
  Result: 990
• Line Chart: Monthly Sales Trend
  Data Range: A1:C7
  Description: Shows sales trends for Product A and Product B from January to June.

Interactivity

Add a filter for Month to select specific months. When you choose months, the KPI cards and line chart update to show sales only for those months.

Self Check

If you add a filter to show only March to May, which components update and what are the new total sales for Product A and Product B?

Answer: The KPI cards update to show totals for March, April, and May. Product A total: =SUM(B4:B6) = 170 + 160 + 180 = 510. Product B total: =SUM(C4:C6) = 160 + 180 + 200 = 540. The line chart updates to show sales only for these months.
