Dashboard Mode - Find and replace

Goal

Find and replace specific text in a list of product names to standardize naming.

Dashboard Components

• Original Product Names: Shows the list of product names from the data (Column B).
• Standardized Product Names: Uses =SUBSTITUTE(B2, "Green", "Fresh Green") formula to replace the word "Green" with "Fresh Green" in product names. This formula is applied from C2 down to C7.
• Count of Replacements: Uses =COUNTIF(B2:B7, "*Green*") to count how many product names contain the word "Green".

Interactivity

You can change the word to find and replace by editing the formula in the Standardized Product Name column. For example, replace "Green" with "Red" or any other word. The Count of Replacements can be updated by editing its formula to show how many product names contain the new word.

Self Check

If you change the word "Green" in the relevant formulas to "Red", which components update?

• The Standardized Product Names column updates to replace "Red" instead of "Green".
