👤 Your Role: You are a business analyst at a retail company.
📋 Request: Your manager wants a sales report that looks professional and easy to read. They ask you to add a background image and a company logo to the report pages.
📊 Data: You have monthly sales data by product category and region. The data includes columns for Month, Region, Category, and Sales Amount.
🎯 Deliverable: Create a Power BI report with a background image and a company logo on each page. The report should show total sales by category and region.

Step 1: Import the sales data into Power BI Desktop.
Use 'Get Data' > 'Excel' or 'CSV' to load the sample data table.
Expected Result
Sales data is loaded and visible in the Fields pane.

Step 2: Create a simple table visual showing total sales by Category and Region.
Add a Table visual. Drag 'Category' and 'Region' to Rows, and 'Sales Amount' to Values with aggregation SUM.
Expected Result
Table shows total sales for each Category and Region combination.

Step 3: Add a background image to the report page.
In the Format pane of the report page, go to 'Page background'. Click 'Add image', select a light, subtle background image file. Set 'Transparency' to 80%.
Expected Result
Report page shows the background image faintly behind visuals.

Step 4: Insert the company logo image on the report page.
Use 'Insert' > 'Image'. Select the company logo file. Resize and place it at the top-left corner of the report page.

Company logo appears clearly on the report page without covering data.

Step 5: Adjust visual backgrounds and text colors for readability over the background image.
Select the table visual. In Format pane, set 'Background color' to white with 90% transparency. Set text color to dark gray or black.
Expected Result
Table is easy to read with good contrast over the background image.

Step 6: Save and publish the report to Power BI Service for sharing.
Click 'File' > 'Save' and then 'Publish' to your workspace.
Expected Result
Report is saved and available online with background and logo visible.
