Dashboard Mode - Version history

Dashboard Goal

Track and analyze the version history of a design project to understand changes over time, identify who made updates, and monitor progress.

Dashboard Components

• KPI Card: Total Versions - shows the count of all versions (5)
• KPI Card: Latest Version - shows the most recent version (v1.4)
• Bar Chart: Number of Elements Changed per Version
  Formula: Use the 'Number of Elements Changed' column for each version
  Shows how many elements were changed in each version visually
• Line Chart: Changes Over Time
  X-axis: Date
  Y-axis: Number of Elements Changed
  Shows trend of changes across versions over time
• Table: Version Details
  Shows all columns from sample data for detailed review

Interactivity

Filter by Author: Selecting an author updates the bar chart, line chart, and table to show only versions created by that author.

Date Range Slicer: Choose a date range to filter versions within that period, updating all visuals accordingly.

Version Selector: Selecting a specific version highlights it in the table and updates the KPI cards to reflect that version's details.

Self Check

Apply a filter for Author = 'Bob'. Which components update?

• The Bar Chart will show only versions v1.1 and v1.4 with their element changes.
• The Line Chart will plot changes over time for these two versions only.
• The Table will list only the rows for versions v1.1 and v1.4.
• The KPI cards will update: Total Versions = 2, Latest Version = v1.4.
