Comments and feedback in Figma let you share your thoughts directly on designs. This helps teams discuss changes and improve dashboards or reports without confusion.
When you want to ask a teammate about a specific chart or data point in your dashboard design
When you need to suggest changes on a report layout before finalizing it

Steps
Step 1: Click
- Comment button in the top-right corner of the Figma window
The cursor changes to a comment icon and the Comments pane opens on the right
💡 You can also press C on your keyboard to activate the comment tool quickly
Step 2: Click
- anywhere on the design canvas where you want to add a comment
A comment box appears at that spot for you to type your feedback
Step 3: Type
- the comment box
Your typed comment appears in the Comments pane and on the canvas as a small icon
Step 4: Click
- Post button in the comment box
Your comment is saved and visible to all collaborators
Step 5: Click
- any existing comment icon on the canvas
The comment thread opens in the Comments pane showing all replies
Step 6: Type
- Reply field in the Comments pane
Your reply is added to the comment thread, keeping the conversation organized

Common Mistakes
