Steps
Step 1: Open
- Figma desktop app or web browser
Your Figma dashboard or design file loads and is ready for editing
Step 2: Share
- Top-right Share button in the Figma window
A sharing dialog appears with a link and permission settings
Step 3: Set
- Sharing dialog's permission dropdown
Choose 'Can edit' to allow others to make changes in real time
Step 4: Copy
- Sharing dialog's link field
The link is copied to your clipboard to send to teammates
Step 5: Send

Teammates receive the link and open the file in Figma
