Common Mistakes
Dragging a dimension instead of a measure to the Text shelf
Dimensions do not aggregate to a single number and will not create a summary card
Always drag a measure field to the Text shelf to create a statistical summary
Not changing the aggregation type when needed
The default sum may not represent the desired statistic like average or count
Use the measure pill drop-down to select the correct aggregation for your summary
