Steps
Step 1: Click
- Data pane
See all data sources listed with their current names
💡 Use clear, descriptive names for data sources to avoid confusion
Step 2: Right-click
- Any worksheet tab
Open context menu with options including Rename
💡 Rename worksheets with meaningful names that describe their content
Step 3: Select
- Worksheet tab > Rename
Worksheet name becomes editable
💡 Use names like 'Sales by Region' instead of 'Sheet1'
Step 4: Click
- Dashboard tab
Dashboard opens for editing

Worksheet Rename
📍 Worksheet tab > Right-click > Rename

Default: Empty
Data Source Rename
📍 Data pane > Right-click data source > Rename

Calculated Field Naming

Common Mistakes
Leaving default names like Sheet1 or DataSource1
