Dashboard Goal

Track monthly sales trends over the first half of the year to identify growth patterns and seasonal changes.

• KPI Card: Total Sales
  Formula: Total Sales = SUM(SalesData[Sales])
  Result: 910
• Line Chart: Monthly Sales Trend

  Data points: 100, 150, 130, 170, 160, 200
  Shows sales increasing with some fluctuations over months

Interactivity

A slicer for selecting months allows filtering the line chart and KPI card. For example, selecting January to March updates the total sales to 380 and the line chart to show only those months.

Self Check

If you add a filter to show only sales from April to June, which components update and what is the new total sales?

Answer: Both the KPI card and the line chart update. The new total sales is 530 (170 + 160 + 200).
