Dashboard Components
  • Table Visual: Shows Region, Salesperson, and Sales Amount columns.
  • Conditional Formatting Rules on Sales Amount:
    • Sales >= 1500: Green fill color (good sales)
    • Sales between 800 and 1499: Yellow fill color (average sales)
    • Sales < 800: Red fill color (low sales)
This uses Power BI's conditional formatting feature on the Sales Amount column.

Interactivity

You can add a slicer for Region. When you select a region, the table updates to show only salespeople from that region. The conditional formatting colors update automatically based on the visible sales amounts.

Self Check

If you add a filter to show only the South region, which sales amounts will be visible and what colors will they have?

Answer: Sales amounts 800 (yellow) for Bob and 400 (red) for Frank will show.

Key Result
A sales table with conditional colors showing high, average, and low sales amounts by region and salesperson.
