Dashboard Mode - Color themes

Dashboard Goal

This dashboard shows sales performance by region and product category. It uses color themes to make the data easy to understand and visually appealing.

Dashboard Components

• KPI Card: Total Sales
  Formula: Total Sales = SUM(SalesData[Sales])
  Result: 9300
  Shows total sales across all regions and categories.
• KPI Card: Total Profit
  Formula: Total Profit = SUM(SalesData[Profit])
  Result: 1900
  Shows total profit across all regions and categories.
• Bar Chart: Sales by Region
  Axis: Region
  Values: Sales
  Color Theme: Uses a blue gradient color theme for bars to represent sales volume from low (light blue) to high (dark blue).
• Stacked Column Chart: Sales by Product Category and Region
  Axis: Region
  Legend: Product Category
  Values: Sales
  Color Theme: Furniture bars in green shades, Technology bars in orange shades for clear category distinction.
• Table: Detailed Sales and Profit
  Columns: Region, Product Category, Sales, Profit
  Color Theme: Alternating row colors in light gray and white for readability.

Interactivity

The dashboard includes a slicer to filter by Region. When a user selects a region, all components update to show data only for that region. The color themes remain consistent to help users quickly interpret the filtered data.
