Dashboard Goal

Understand the structure and status of features in a SolidWorks part using the Feature Manager design tree.

Dashboard Components

• KPI Card: Total Features
  Formula: Count of all features = 7
• KPI Card: Suppressed Features
  Formula: Count where Suppression State = 'Suppressed' = 1
• Tree Visualization: Feature Manager Design Tree
  Shows hierarchical parent-child relationships of features with status color coding:
  • Green for Resolved
  • Red for Suppressed
• Table: Feature Details
  Shows Feature Name, Type, Status, Parent Feature, Suppression State

Interactivity

User can select a feature in the Feature Manager Design Tree. This selection filters the Feature Details Table to show only the selected feature and its direct children.

Suppression State filter allows toggling to show only suppressed or unsuppressed features, updating all components accordingly.

Self Check

If you apply a filter to show only suppressed features, which components update?

• The Total Features KPI updates to count only suppressed features.
• The Suppressed Features KPI updates to the same count.
• The Feature Manager Design Tree shows only suppressed features in red.
