Introduction
Publishing paginated reports lets you share detailed, print-ready reports with others through the Power BI service. It solves the problem of distributing complex reports that need precise formatting and pagination.

Steps
Step 1: Open
- Power BI Report Builder
Your paginated report file (.rdl) is ready for publishing
Step 2: Click
- File menu > Save As > Power BI Service
A dialog opens to sign in and select workspace
Step 3: Sign in
- Power BI Service sign-in dialog
You are authenticated to publish reports
Step 4: Select
- Workspace dropdown in the publish dialog
The target workspace for the report is chosen
Step 5: Click
- Publish button in the dialog
The report uploads and appears in the selected workspace's Paginated Reports section
Step 6: Go to
- Power BI Service > Workspace > Paginated Reports tab
You see the published report listed and ready to view or share
