PivotTables help you summarize large data quickly. Formatting a PivotTable makes it easier to read and understand the summarized data by changing colors, fonts, and layout.

Steps
Step 1: Click
- any cell inside the PivotTable
The Pivot table editor panel appears on the right side of the screen
Step 2: Click
- the PivotTable to select it
The PivotTable is highlighted and the toolbar shows formatting options
Step 3: Click
- Format menu in the top menu bar
A dropdown menu with formatting options appears
Step 4: Select
- Text color or Fill color from the Format menu
A color palette opens for you to choose colors
💡 Use fill color to highlight important rows or columns
Step 5: Click
- a color in the palette
The selected cells in the PivotTable change to the chosen color
Step 6: Right-click
- a cell or range inside the PivotTable
A context menu appears with options like 'Resize column' or 'Insert row'

- any cell in the PivotTable and then click the 'Pivot table editor' panel
